7. CHANGE ORDERS

  • Deletions from the project scope

PRICING ADJUSTMENTS

Change orders may result in additional costs or credits. Work on changes will not begin until the change order is signed by the customer and any required additional payment is received.

8. PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS

PERMIT RESPONSIBILITY

Timeless Builder Group will obtain all necessary building permits required for your project in Warrenton and Fauquier County, VA. Permit fees are typically included in the project cost unless otherwise specified.

INSPECTIONS

We will schedule and coordinate all required inspections with local building authorities. The customer agrees to provide reasonable access for inspectors during normal business hours.

COMPLIANCE

All work will be performed in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.

9. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

As a customer of Timeless Builder Group, you agree to:

ACCESS

  • Provide reasonable access to the work area during normal business hours
  • Ensure the work area is accessible and clear of personal items
  • Provide utilities (water, electricity) as needed for the project

DECISIONS

  • Make timely decisions on materials, finishes, and design choices
  • Be available (in person, by phone, or email) to answer questions and approve work
  • Review and sign change orders promptly

PROPERTY

  • Disclose any known issues with the property (e.g., water damage, structural concerns, asbestos)
  • Relocate pets, valuables, and fragile items from the work area
  • Arrange for alternative accommodations if necessary for extensive renovations

PAYMENT

  • Make payments according to the agreed-upon schedule
  • Notify us immediately of any billing concerns or disputes

10. WARRANTY

WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY

Timeless Builder Group provides a 2-year warranty on all labor and workmanship. This warranty covers:

  • Defects in installation
  • Workmanship failures under normal use
  • Issues resulting from our construction methods

MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Materials and products installed during your project are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will provide documentation for applicable manufacturer warranties upon project completion.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
  • Damage caused by others (other contractors, accidents, etc.)
  • Natural disasters, floods, fires, or acts of God
  • Changes or modifications made by others after project completion
  • Cosmetic issues reported more than 30 days after project completion

  • Timeless Builder Group's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to other property.
  • We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions discovered during the project that were not disclosed by the customer or visible during initial inspection.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

INFORMAL RESOLUTION

MEDIATION

If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Mediation costs will be shared equally by both parties.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and any disputes arising from our services shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

VENUE

Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Prince William County, Virginia, or the appropriate federal court serving Fauquier County, VA.

  • Unsafe or hostile work conditions
  • Customer interference with work or workers
  • Discovery of conditions that make the project infeasible
  • Breach of contract terms

16. MISCELLANEOUS

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with your signed project contract, constitute the entire agreement between you and Timeless Builder Group regarding our services.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

WAIVER

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
